(Yes we still have Shade's Valentine heart on the wall from last year...)
This year I worked on Valentine's Day, so we decided to celebrate it the night before. Shade was asking the week before what presents we get for this holiday :) Last year he got to have a little party at school. Home school has its drawbacks. So we planned a little "family party." First we gave each other little valentines. Kellen got a couple fun cards for the kids and a little toy (a Cars football for Shade and a princess softball for Olive... :P). The kids and I got Kellen some yummy candy, and Kellen and the kids got me some fancy chocolates. Then we went out to Applebee's and got some yummy dinner. Simple but fun! We have the best family!
