So while I have been taking it easy with schooling my kids, they have gone on to school themselves! I introduced Olive to the concepts of reading many times once she had figured out that letters make sounds, but it wasn't ready to click for her until recently - she just started reading small words without any prodding. So I then got out the beginner reading books, and she started picking them up SO fast! A lot of the harder words or sight words she only had to be told what they were once or twice and she was able to remember them! She is awesome. And she isn't even 3 until April! What a little smarty pants :)
