Olive is now 7 months old.
Some things she has picked up or improved on:
- She still hasn't quite figured out crawling forward. She will still get up on her tiptoes, push herself backwards across the floor, and roll every which way. So she ends up in some pretty weird places sometimes :) We often find her yelling at us (because she is stuck) under the couch, in a closet, up against the wall, under the computer desk, even in the kitchen or bathroom (all the way down the hall). We are going to have to keep a close eye on this one when she finally does figure the crawling thing out! She's getting so close!
- She now says momma and dadda all the time - although not necessarily to us.
- She is still very cautious when it comes to giving out laughs, although now that she can anticipate things, she will laugh more.
- She has figured out how to push herself up into a sitting position, although she has only done that a couple times, usually she supports herself with her hand.
- She loves bath time now that she can sit up.
- She loves to grab faces and give slobber kisses, and will occasionally give long cuddles (most of the time she is too interested in everything going on around her to snuggle).
- She still loves putting EVERYTHING in her mouth.
