Shade finally dared to take off the training wheels on his bike! Kellen talked him into it by buying him hand, knee and elbow pads. He hasn't been able to practice much because our "driveway" is a big parking lot, and the sidewalks on both sides of our apartment complex have hills. But this time we set aside some time, took him to the church parking lot while it was empty, and went for it. And he picked it up pretty quickly! We were all very happy about that, especially Shade. And it helped that we had some friends there to help encourage him and share some pizza too :)
