FALL
Fall is by far my favorite season. Perhaps from living in a very hot desert most of my life, fall time was finally a relief from the extreme heat. Plus, the leaves were always fun as a kid. But I really had no idea how amazing fall colors could be until I moved out to Michigan. We have been here a little over 5 years now and I am still amazed by the colors of the leaves, and how many leaves there are! In fact, on our trip out to visit Chicago for Shade's birthday, both sides of the freeway were shrouded by layers and layers of colorful trees most of the way - it was so tempting to sit and stare out the window instead of sleep (we left right after I had gotten off work).
