This year we both had the 4th of July off. So we decided to go to Greenfield Village since Kellen hasn't been there in a long time. We had a lot of fun together. At home we did sparklers and caught fireflies. Kellen isn't really into fireworks, so we didn't go anywhere to watch any, but they had a firework show a few miles from our house on the 3rd so Shade and I ran outside to watch. Even though we weren't right there, we were still able to see them above the trees, so we got to see some fireworks after all. We also had a little talk about why we have fireworks at this time of year. So it was a pretty good holiday for us :)

Sparklers, Fireflies
I woke up from sleeping after a midnight shift. The boys were asleep in Shade's room with the beginning of a movie (where before you push play) repeating over and over, and Olive was asleep in the baby swing with a bow over her eyes. Gotta love dads!
