SPORTS CAMP, WEEK OF LYD

Shade got to go to a sports camp with his Curtis cousins this summer! He said he had a lot of fun. They played different sports and games for 4 days, so Shade got to spend a whole week with them, as we went to go pick him up on the weekend. The only problem was, Shade had a tendency to get homesick at night. We skyped with him almost every night we were separated. We sure missed each other!

So in order to have enough room to drive people around in vehicles, etc, we got to keep cousin Lydia with us for the week that Shade was at her house. It was awesome! Unfortunately, we were still new to the area, so we didn't know of places to go explore. But we still went on a bike ride, went to a nice park, ate out, and made it to a lake (that we were not supposed to swim in). Oh, and we did get some free babysitting out of it, which was awesome! I don't want my kids to grow up, but at least there are perks to having older kids around! It is so nice to have family close enough to be able to do things like this with them!
