We have been LOVING this warmer winter! So far it has snowed twice, but not much, and it did not stick either time! I don't mind playing in the snow, but I hate driving in the snow, especially long distances - like when I would have to drive from Farmington down to Dearborn and back for work back in the day. But we have been able to go jacket-free several times in December, January, and even now in February! It has even gotten into the 70's more than once! Sure, it gets cold at night, but it warms up quite a bit during the day (the average highs in both January and February are in the mid-50's, and it is often 20-30 degrees warmer than in Michigan), and most importantly, there is a lot of SUN! I remember going weeks in Michigan without seeing any sun for more than just a few minutes here and there. Oh, I miss a lot of things about Michigan (especially the people, and my awesome job), but I do NOT miss the 6 month long, often below freezing winters! We all really enjoy being able to play outside for extended time periods during the winter! These pictures are from December, January and February.

Yes, those are pink blossoms on the trees in front of the Christmas decorations... I think the trees got a bit confused about what time of the year it was! I also configured our jogging stroller to accommodate 2 kids :) The last pictures are of the only real snow that stuck to the ground this winter. The kids wanted to "play" in it, but there wasn't enough to do anything!

Also, just a few miscellaneous pictures of other things that have been going on around here:
