3rd GRADE

So Shade started 3rd grade this year! It is always an adjustment to go back to school, especially when you have to get up at 6am, but he was still excited to be older. Unfortunately for him, since we are now buying a house in a different school district, he will be going to a new grade AND a new school (they are very strict out here about letting kids go to schools out of their assigned district, but we were able to fill out some paperwork and get a temporary pass for him - but that also means we get to drop him off and pick him up until we move and he gets to use the bus). So that means this will be his 4th school since kindergarten (7th if you count preschool)! Poor kid keeps getting jerked around. Good thing he is able to adapt so well and keeps making new friends!

And even though he is a "year" younger than everyone else in his class (thanks to Michigan cutoffs), he continues to be one of the tallest :) We really need to get him in basketball!
