CURTIS COUSINS

We were lucky enough to get to visit cousins again this last weekend. Cousin Bailey was in a big play (Annie) and Kellen's mom was flying out to see it, so we decided to go too. It was nice to have the time off and since I didn't have to stay up all night all weekend, I had a very productive week (as compared to only having a couple of productive days a week after trying to catch up on sleep and switching back to days). And of course it was nice to visit with family.

Things we got to do:

  • Foster's choir and chimes concert.
  • The play was cute. Bailey was both an orphan and in the NYC ensemble.
  • 3 soccer games. The 4 oldest are in soccer, 3 of them had games. It was pretty cold outside, though. We were a bit unprepared for 45 degree windy weather.
  • Spastic Uno
  • Learned how to make a cake in the microwave (less than 15 minutes) with a stoneware bunt pan.
  • Played outside - there was one day that had good weather. We played softball until Kellen got hit in the eye. And Shade loved their trampoline.
  • Learned a duet on the piano with Bailey.
  • Wrestling with uncle Kellen (and daddy).
