So this last Saturday Kellen wanted to go running - I was still too sick to want to go - our family has been fighting colds/congestion for awhile now. So he took Shade with the jogging stroller. But Shade said he wanted to run with daddy. So Kellen let Shade run with him until Shade got too tired. We measured it the next day - he had run 3/4 of a mile without stopping!
Well, we went running yesterday also. This time Shade made it 1-1/4 miles! I went this time, and I must say I was very impressed. He kept a pretty fast pace the entire time. We kept asking him if he was tired and wanted to get into the stroller, and he kept saying that no, he wanted to run. We didn't push him to run at all (we were actually kind of hoping he would want to stop so we could run). Then, when he finally did get tired, he wanted to keep walking. But by that time, we decided that we needed to get some running in too, so he went very reluctantly into the stroller.
