Her trip out here had very short notice since she had to work things out with her employer, so we had to get everything lined up in a very short amount of time, and it almost didn't happen. But luckily, everything worked out in the end, and we had a great time.
I had to work the night before and two nights after my mom got here, so I did a lot of sleeping during the days, but she got to spend some good quality time with the grandkids, so that was awesome. Some of the things we did manage to do:
Heritage splash pad and creek, Greenfield Village, Henry Ford Museum, Walled Lake, Belle Isle, Shiawassee park and river, Shade's last T-Ball game, and a free concert at Riley Park in Downtown Farmington (Lindsay Lou and the Flatbelly's).
